![]() ![]() I also looked at buying a Safari Tuff or Palmer quiver and lashing them to the side of a pack, but I was concerned about getting those packed with snow which seems less of an issue with the Catquiver. So I bought a CGM dropout pouch instead to carry the rope vertical. How expensive they are denoting how much you want them to clatter around together Anywhere from 12 to 24 arrows wouldn’t be uncommon in a hip or back quiver. This really depends on the diameter of your arrow and how expensive they are. I added a 3rd conway strap to hook around to the back of the rig from the opposite side, which makes the quiver incredibly stable, but not sure Ill use this in actual practice. ![]() This lets the front strap hang somewhat naturally. Only thing I realized is I can’t use a roll pouch for the rappel rope as it puts the loops of it uncomfortably close to the broadheads when wearing saddle and pack. Traditional hip quivers and back quivers can carry as many arrows as you can fit inside. I then used a shorter Conway strap setup to get from approximately bellybutton to the back quiver. Lightweight with almost a frame with the two aluminum stays, built in fletching cover, and it covers 3” broad heads (mostly). I’ve worn it a couple times out hunting for turkey and I like it. I’m going to one-stick this year, and since I won’t need to the frame on the Eberlestock x2 to handle four sticks and platform I bought a Catquiver VII. (I have now figured out fletching waterproofing powder exists.) That worked ok, but I didn’t like carrying the quiver separate in brush and is another thing to hang up. Rest of the season I used a Great Northern hip quiver with a fleece fletching cover to keep the fletching dry. wouldnt make sense to wear it on your back unless youre transporting them somewhere. Portraying a real-life culture is great, but don't use insulting stereotypes.Last year I tried a Great Northern bow quiver for a bit, didn’t like having the arrows in the bow in the tree. the quiver is worn on hip for convenience and ease of use.Don't use a slur for the Romani people. This restrictions are explained in detail here. Hip quivers do this, at least the ones that hang at an angle from a single suspension point on the belt, and its annoying. When mentioning a LARP please include the location in brackets.
